Soooo tired. Long weekend but so much fun. Props to Tara for another great party.

It's really cute looking, it's called Trusty Bell: Chopins Dream, and there's a trailer available through Gametrailers.
I'm sorry, in the last week I've heard 'terrorist leaving out his recycling' and 'bag of sand is a bomb'. People could you try to get some effing focus here. The chances of it being a terrorist attack are slim at best. Look at the track record - you've been walking around for the past ~20 years and you've never seen a terrorist attack in person; what makes you think that it's going to suddenly jump up and bite you on the ass. London had for many years lived under the spectre of IRA attacks, yet they still managed to do their business most of the time (barring the occasionally delayed train due to a suspect device). Honestly, tiny, piddly city in the US that thinks they're so important - eh, no, you're not. Get over yourself.
Garm, but the lack of detail about what is happening in the overall story is scary. Because of the lack of global context the story is made more the sadder.
It suffers from the standard syndrome of most shows... we don't know when we're going to end, and as such, we'll just keep stringing along the watchers until the end of the series.
Of all the characters in the show, I feel that Chise is the saddest. We're not told why she underwent the program to make her into the ultimate weapon, so we can only guess. Throughout the makeup/breakup with Shuji, all we get are disjointed experiences from the front, the end of which is the ultimate destruction of the world.
I would have liked to have seen the other side of the story. What caused it, why it happened. I'm just an analytic nerd.

Jesus H christ on a stick! would you people please turn on your lights when you are driving in the rain. You are about as visible as a snowball in a snowstorm when it's raining. Take a grey car, add grey clouds and a greyed road coutesy of the grey rain. You think you could possibly be more invisible?
This rant was brought to you by the rain on the N7 coming back into the city. I never realized there were so many grey/silver cars.

Let's see. I have copernic desktop search, which injects itself into pretty much every process that's running on my desktop.
then we have the nvidia nview desktop manager, which is pretty useful in a multi-monitor setting. It also insinuates itself into every process that runs on the desktop.
The end result ... they keep hitting each other over the back of the head.

I'm glad I subscribed to emusic. It makes me get a bunch of albums every month, so I tend to reach out in various directions. It got me to listen to Joanna Newsom, The Rakes, Blonde Redhead, Mono, Melt Banana, Röyksopp. The list is quite long, but you get the idea. If you want to be forced into something get a subscription, otherwise you end up getting the same crap again and again
I just loved the show. There are Instructions on how to perform the dance from the credits of the show itself.
In honour of her putting the blasted tune in my head while travelling back to Dublin yesterday I've set her ringtone to the theme from the tv show from my childhood. In order to infect other people :)
It's a history of oil over the last 100 years, as told by Robert Newman. Funny and interesting. I hearken back to my leaving cert history classes and think - damn, if only my teacher had been that interesting I might have been able to stay awake in class :)
Flights booked. Credit card looking a little bit weary :)
Yes, all I have to do is actually book the flights.
Damn you Tara! Damn you to hell!
I so have to go; otherwise it's just a stupid rant.
