Yes, I am that hideous

When I was younger my parents told me that I would not amount to much and my girlfriend would be called 'Computina'. So much that they know, eh?

I was born in the early 1970's, so I was, and I know that the music of that decade was terrible so don't blame me!
I've been interested in computers since the days of the Sinclair ZX-81, when my brother bought one while he was in college. I was fascinated with this little box and the things it could do on a black and white telly (and the things it could not do! DATA statements anyone?)

Following that was the Amstrad 6128, and a Sinclair PC512 (after Amstrad bought Sinclair - it sucked!). I've been slowly progressing with my PC purchases, handhelds and laptops.

Following college I spent several years working for Sun Microsystems and last year they decided they had enough of my pale ass and let me go.

For the last while I've been working in Kerry on a piece of software that I started almost 9 years ago. I realize that once I've finished with it, I'll have to find a proper job and get back to the growing up grind.

I'm tempted to put a bunch of other stuff in here detailing other pieces of my life, but unless you knew me, I don't think you would understand it.

Things I think I want at the moment: Not a lot really. I got the laptop (a Dell XPS M1710 rather than M170), and a new mobile phone (Sony Ericsson W810i), si I'm all up to speed on that side of things.
